Justin Potter library is located one block east the town square at the corner of East Main Street and First Street and directly across the street from the United States Post Office, (Joe L. Evins Federal Building).  Justin Pottery Library contains numerous historical - genealogical documents.  In 2004 Justin Potter Library completed an expansion project and opened a new genealogy room named in honor of DeKalb County Historian Thomas G. Webb.  Mr. Webb has served DeKalb County for many years first as a teacher and now as county historian.  Mr. Webb is available for consultation "most any day" Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.
