The DeKalb County Election
Commission regulates all elections in DeKalb County including federal, state
and local. On the local level the Election Commission is responsible
for county elections, as well as municipal elections in the four
incorporated cities in DeKalb County; Alexandria, Dowelltown, Liberty and
Smithville. Additionally the Election Commission supervises the
election of directors for DeKalb Telephone Cooperative - DTC Communications.

Registrar: Mrs. Lisa Peterson
Maintains voter registration list. Voters must be 18 years of age and reside
in the county for 90 days. Certifies candidates for election and supervises
all elections within the county. |
