    Smithville is convenient to Interstate 40 and 24. In addition it is easily accessible from Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga.

From Nashville:
Take I-40 East to Alexandria, New Middleton Exit, # 254, and turn right on State Route 53.  Follow SR 53, 8 miles to U.S. 70. Turn left onto U.S. 70 and continue east 16 miles Smithville.

From Knoxville:
Take I-40 West to the Smithville, McMinnville Exit, # 273 and turn left onto State Route 56, continue south 13 miles to Smithville.

From Chattanooga:
Take I-24 West to the Manchester, McMinnville Exit, # 111 and turn right onto State Route 55. Continue east 23 miles to McMinnville.  Follow the U.S. 70 bypass and at the Junction of State Route 56 turn left and continue 18 miles north to Smithville.
